Adele Zavatti

Coming from a family of artist and mosaicists, aftre graduating she attended a 2 years course of mosaic at the "Albe Steiner" accademy of Ravenna where she achieved with full markes the title of mosaicist, and during wich she did her apprentiship by the " Cooperativa Mosaicisti Ravenna". Afterwards she worked for one of the most renowned workshop in this field "Il Mosaco" of Carlo and Renato Signorini in Ravenna keeping in contact with the most important trends of the modern mosaic and meanwhile maturing a considerable experience in restoration, working on the re-establishment of the mosaic flooring in the Otranto's cathedral. In constant searc of new stimuli and way sof expression, Adele Zavatti has approched an independent way by conbining the reproduction of classical and traditional works with the cuorageous and innovative creation of object of ordinary use, where classic and modern stiles merge in balanced and original solutions. Her many exhibitions have always aroused widespread and unanimous interest.Her succes and the enthusiastic criticism for her mosaics and arstistic solutions have induced her to open her own workshop in Meldola’s heart, under the beautiful open galleries of via Cavour. Enthusiasm, dedication, artistic maturity are the strenght of Adele Zavatti’s works and her passion is what she transmits in the courses she holds on request. Adele Zavatti was born in Forlì 1968.
